Adore Yourself Slim is a recipe, nutrition, exercise, and self-help guide that is packaged as a complete kit that is designed to help women become happier and healthier and enjoy weight loss in the process. Also known as Adore Yourself Thin, it comes with information, recipes, an eating and fitness journal, and even a weight loss hypnosis CD to assist you in reaching your goals.

The Adore Yourself Slim program is designed specifically for women who are seeking a book that will motivate and encourage them to take on a healthier way of living. It is also for women who want to be able to use the book to track their own progress and to use it as a self-created record of their success in losing weight. This kit is marketed as a friendly system that includes everything that is need to look and feel better.

Each package contains:

  • A three month journal in which to record weight loss
  • Charts and graphs that can be filled in for personal progress tracking
  • A CD that includes seven self-hypnosis tracks that are designed for different parts of the weight loss process and include

The author of the Adore Yourself Slim diet’s book, which is entitled “Adore Yourself Slim”, Lisa Jackson, also provides her own relatable story that includes her own dieting experiences. I wasn’t a believer when I first signed up for this program, but my best friend swears by it and promised to pay me back for it if I wasn’t happy with it. I didn’t take a single penny from her! When it talks about hypnosis, it doesn’t mean “you are feeling sleeeeepy”. It’s actually more of way of letting yourself accept the suggestion to keep up your motivation to continue with your diet, love yourself, keep your motivation high, and exercise regularly. It doesn’t just make your fat come off, but it does help you to become a better dieter.

I found that the Adore Yourself Slim book was an enjoyable and interesting read, but I don’t really see myself trying to apply a lot of it to my real life. For whatever reason, it did seem to make a lot of sense to me, but in actual practice, I just can’t see myself going down the paths that it recommended. I can see where they tried very hard to be helpful with all of the different resources from the book to the CD, etc, which probably works for a lot of different kinds of learners. It just didn’t click with me.

What I liked the most about Adore Yourself Slim is that it makes sure that you never give up. You need to keep the book with you a lot to be able to follow the meal plans and keep up with all of the different things that you have to do. But the great part about it is that the more you read it, the more pumped you feel about it. Since motivation is usually my biggest struggle, this is making a huge difference in my diet and my keeping up with it.
