Altrexa is a professional strength thermogenic fat burning amplifier for fast weight loss. It is a non-prescription diet pill from Biotek Nutrition. The goal of Altrex is to shrink the number of calories a person eats by up to half through the use of powerful appetite suppressants. It is also meant to increase energy and boost metabolism to provide you with fast-acting energy to deliver fat burning all day. Furthermore, it supposedly lowers belly fat and gives you greater natural motivation and energy while breaking down fat cells.

When this review was written, the Altrexa formula contained Caffeine Glucuronolactone, Phenethylamine HCl, Nettle Leaf Extract, Yohimbe Extract, Inositol Niacinate. Users are directed to take one capsule twice per day, 30 minutes before meals. A third capsule can also be taken for those seeking increased weight loss. No more than 3 capsules should be taken per day.

Pros

Altrexa contains several stimulants including caffeine, yohimbe and phenehgthylamine. Stimulants can help to boost mental alertness and energy, which can be beneficial for boosting metabolism when combined with physical activity. They may also cause appetite suppression in some people. When combined with a healthy, calorie-conscious diet and regular exercise, caffeine may aid in the additional burning of excess fat.

Cons

Most of the ingredients in Altrexa are ineffective or unsafe. While it is very likely you will feel the effects of the multiple stimulants within this formula, this doesn’t mean that the product will actually help you lose weight on its own. Simply because you might feel jittery or energized, fat isn’t going to magically melt off your body. All the claims made about this product are unsubstantiated. There is no clinical proof that it works.

Most stimulants, like caffeine, work best to maximize fat burning when they are combined with exercise, especially cardio workouts. Nowhere on the Altrexa product label does it say to take the capsules in conjunction with a healthy, calorie-conscious diet and regular exercise. This is further proof of this dietary supplement’s lack of efficacy as conventional weight loss methods are necessary when it comes to dropping pounds and achieving measurable fat loss.

Also, due to the number of stimulants in this product, there is a good chance that you will experience adverse effects, such as insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, rapid heartbeat etc. Those who are sensitive to stimulants are at a greater risk of experiencing adverse effects. For this reason, it is best to first consult with your doctor before you take Altrexa.
