The Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet was created – as the name suggests – by an Irish nutritionist named Anne Collins. She has created a large number of different types of diets, which are listed on her website, many of which have been published in their own individual books. The official website is a hard-sell marketing piece, so actual information about this diet was gleaned from a combination of the official site and reputable third party sources.

The Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet is a program in which dieters may participate online, by registering as a member through the official website. At the time of this review, a membership cost $19.97. The paid membership provides access to the members-only portions of the website for 12 months, the Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet ebook, access to the private support forum, and the ability to download any of the other 9 ebooks that support the plan.

The ebook is instantly downloadable and is in PDF format. It is easy to read and is not very long, so its first read shouldn’t take more than an evening. It contains meal plans, recipes, snack ideas, and even options for fast food choices. Each day includes 3 meals as well as snacks. Every day has two different dinner options from which the dieter can choose: a home-cooked meal, or a ready-made packaged meal.

This diet has been designed to begin a lifestyle that with last for the rest of a person’s life, as opposed to being simply a short-term weight loss plan. It encourages the user to embrace vegetarianism by using the meal plan to demonstrate how a vegetarian individual can eat every day.

In terms of price, it is really quite low, considering that it provides access to this diet as well as several other ebooks for details regarding other diets or angles to supplement the Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet. It is convenient that it comes in ebook format, as it means that it is instantly accessible and can be accessed at home or at work. There are many substitutions and options available for each day’s meal plan. For people who like the structure of a set meal plan, there is very little thought involved, as each day is already planned out and a grocery list is provided.

That said, though this diet does recommend exercise, it does not actually discuss a specific activity regimen, as it is primarily a diet plan. For this weight loss plan to be healthier, faster, and more effective, it should include a minimum of cardiovascular exercise and a bit of weight training. Moreover, it can require the weighing of foods and counting of calories, which many people find confusing, frustrating, or simply unappealing. This diet does not offer a money-back guarantee that could be found on the site.

I am really impressed with Anne’s healthy and comprehensive approach to helping people manage their weight!

You’re absolutely right. I have been thinking about going vegetarian for a while now because of the health and the weight loss benefits, but I didn’t really know how to do it. I was afraid of what would happen if I did it wrong. A friend of mine just stopped eating meat and her hair started falling out. But the Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet really guides you how to do it properly.

I am wondering if eating vegetarian is the healthiest way one can eat?

I really think it is. It keeps your fats and toxin levels down

Honestly a vegetarian diet is a VERY healthy way to eat, as long as you are still getting the nutritional balance from veggies that you are not getting by giving up meat/animal foods. Simply avoiding meat on it’s own will not make you healthy, especially if you are eating junk foods that are hight in fat.

There are many reasons why going vegetarian is a better way to go:

-Vegetarian food is naturally lower in saturated fats and there is like no cholesterol in plant foods.
-Vegetables and plant foods are much higher in fiber.
-There are significantly more amounts of B vitamins and folic acid contained in plant foods.
-Fruits & veggies are excellent sources of phytochemicals – nutrients that help all our organs in the body function better

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just become a vegetarian and not buy the book?

It would, and you could probably do it that way, too, but you will still miss a few of the Anne Collins Easy Vegetarian Diet features that are only available if you pay. I guess it just depends how much that matters to you.

There was nothing easy about using this book to start a vegetarian diet

Switching to vegetarianism isn’t easy, but I found that the book made it a little bit easier. Was it the diet or the instructions you found hard?

I was shocked that this doesn’t just make you healthy and help you to lose weight pretty fast, but you also get to save a huge amount of money! I never really realized how much money could be saved just by cutting meat out of my diet. I eat until I’m very full at every meal, and I still lose weight on this diet just by taking the meat out. I still eat fish and egg whites every now and again, which isn’t a part of this diet, but it doesn’t seem to have any negative effects.
