The Fiber 35 Diet is a weight loss program created by certified nutritional consultant Brenda Watson. She claims that through her diet’s calorie reduction program and its boost in daily fiber intake, notable amounts of weight can be lost. According to Watson, fiber helps to fill you up and keep you feeling satisfied, while reducing hunger cravings and maintaining balanced blood sugar levels. The name of the diet is based on the recommendation made by Watson, to consume 35 grams of fiber every day – even though the average American eats only half that much (or less). This diet program also aims to minimize the amount of processed foods, refined foods, and sugar that are consumed, replacing them with foods that are high in fiber, such as fruits, whole grains, beans, and veggies.

There are three phases to The Fiber 35 Diet. These are: 1 – reducing weight dramatically; 2 – gradually losing weight; and 3 – maintaining weight that has already been lost. The majority of the people on the diet start in phase one, though some begin at phase 2. Either way, the goal is to work toward phase 3 and keep it up. The book published by Brenda Watson, called The Fiber 35 Diet, explains the concepts and details of each phase of the diet in greater detail. It also explains how the dieter can cleanse his or her body and how exercise must be incorporated into it.

The pros of The Fiber 35 Diet are that whether or not the dieter achieves the promised weight loss, he or she will be eating healthy foods and minimizing unhealthy foods, so better overall body health will be achieved. There is a great deal of information provided on the official Fiber 35 Diet website at no cost to the site user. Therefore, the principles and application of this diet can be obtained for free. The book provides further tools and information that can help dieters to maximize their success potential and eat much healthier.

The cons of the Fiber 35 diet are that its credibility has been compromised due to the number of infomercials that feature its methods. Some of its users have also registered complaints about the fact that it encourages them to rely on energy bars and shakes instead of being able to eat real meals. Though the tools on the website are all offered for free, it is very clear that the reason that they are offered is primarily to sell Brenda Watson’s health foods in order to meet the guidelines of the diet.

I was a little doubtful before I started the Fiber 35 diet, but once I got into it, I was actually quite impressed. It was great for keeping you feeling full and I never craved sweets like I usually do. It also felt very healthy instead of feeling like it was a fad diet.

This sounds like it’s just going to cause digestive upset, but it really does work!

I have been using this diet for just over two weeks and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about it. It only took me a couple of days to get into the swing of it and since then it’s been pretty easy. All of the high fiber foods keep you feeling full so it’s not a starvation diet.

Your body has to get used to it at first, but then things settle and it works very well and comfortably and there’s no starvation.
