Hoodia Gordonii diet pills, also known as just hoodia, is a weight loss supplement that can be found in many different over-the-counter diet formulas as it is currently experiencing some hype in that industry. Products containing hoodia typically market to both men and women and claim to offer appetite suppressing properties throughout the day so that smaller meals are more satisfying, and hunger does not return for a longer period of time.

The problem with hoodia is primarily the hype it has received. Though there is an active molecule in pure hoodia, it is rare to see that molecule in the majority of non-prescription weight loss formulas that contain this ingredient. Hoodia, itself, comes from a cactus in South Africa. The active molecule with the appetite suppressing properties is known as P57. The claim is that this molecule, when consumed, can trick the brain into thinking that it is full, even when it is not. However, pure hoodia is very expensive, prohibitively so for most over-the-counter diet supplements which much keep their prices down in order to remain affordable to the consumer and competitive with other similar products.

It is very difficult to tell which products contain 100 percent pure hoodia with the P57 molecule, and which ones contain hoodia in lesser forms. Furthermore, there is very little clinical evidence to support the claims about this ingredient in the first place – with or without the P57 molecule. The Mayo Clinic does not recommend supplements that contain this ingredient as there is insufficient evidence to show that it has any effect on weight loss.

The advantages of taking hoodia diet pills include the fact that it is an all-natural ingredient which is a cactus derivative. Furthermore it is available in liquid or capsule forms and it is an easy diet plan to manage. It can be combined with healthy nutrition and exercise for better results. Many products containing hoodia offer a satisfaction guarantee so that your money can be refunded if you are not happy with the product.

The disadvantages, however, are that there are no significant clinical studies to show that hoodia is in any way effective and it is too new on the market to know whether or not it is safe to use over a long period of time. Some people have been known to have allergic reactions to hoodia. Hoodia-containing products frequently fail to suggest a proper diet and exercise program in conjunction with the use of their product in order to encourage healthy weight maintenance once weight is lost. Free trial samples of hoodia supplements do not appear to be available at the time of this review. Hoodia does not help to burn calories or fat, but claims only to suppress the appetite.

If you’re looking for extra energy then Hoodia Gordonii diet pills is great. I’ve been taking this pill for 7 days and lost 9 pounds. It gives me great energy and I don’t feel hungry in between meals anymore. This product has really impressed me!

I have never found a Hoodia weight loss pill that has had any real difference for me. I have a feeling that I didn’t find a product that was using the right form of the ingredient, but there are so many hoodia products out there now, all claiming to be 100% pure and effective, that it’s impossible to find the real thing anymore.

99 percent of Hoodia is just a scam like acai. It doesn’t work unless you buy the very pure, very expensive stuff. You really won’t get that in almost any product you find.
