Myoshred is a dietary supplement designed for men who are seeking to boost their metabolism, lose fat and gain muscle. A product from Advantage Nutraceuticals, Myoshred is a thermogenic amplifier that, according to its official website, contains ingredients that have been shown to aid theremogensis and that can also help increase free testosterone levels.

When this Myoshred review was written, each serving size (2 capsules) of the formula was composed of Zinc (20 mg), Boron (10 mg), Furosap Fenugreek (500 mg), Tribulus Terrstis (300 mg), Caffeine Anhydrous (250 mg), GreenSelect Phytosome Green Tea (150 mg).

The suggested use is to start by taking 1 capsule with 12 ounces of water, 30 minutes prior to breakfast and lunch or physical activity (a total of 2 pills daily). If after one week of assessing tolerance, you tolerate this dose well, you can take 2 capsules 30 minutes before breakfast and lunch or physical activity (a total of 4 pills daily). You should not exceed 4 capsules within a 24 hour period. Users are also cautioned not to take Myoshred with any other stimulant or dietary supplement that contains caffeine.

Myoshred Pros

Myoshred contains ingredients that have been clinically studied and some studies have found that some of these ingredients may be beneficial for fat loss. For instance, fenugreek may inhibit aromatase and 5-a reductase and may increase fat loss. Also, Caffeine is well-known for its ability to amplify mental focus. Some studies have found that it may enhance thermogenesis, boosting metabolism and fat burning, particularly when combined with physical activity.

Myoshred Cons

None of the ingredients in Myoshred are clinically proven to directly cause or aid in fat loss. There is a big difference between burning fat and burning fat that leads to measurable weight loss.

Moreover, although this dietary supplement contains caffeine, which can, at the very least, improve mental focus, it should be noted that taking the maximum 4-pill daily dose will amount to ingesting 500 mg of caffeine. To put this into clearer perspective, 500 mg of caffeine is roughly the equivalent to 5 cups of brewed coffee and is more than the 400 mg of caffeine that the Mayo Clinic says is considered to be safe for most healthy adults per day.

The more caffeine you ingest, the greater the risk for unpleasant side effects like sleep disturbances, insomnia, restlessness, jitters, anxiety, headache, racing heart, heart palpitations, etc. For this reason, it is important that if you take Myoshred that you do first assess your tolerance and you avoid ingesting any other foods, beverages or supplements containing stimulants or caffeine.

Anyone who is sensitive to stimulants or who is allergic to any of the other ingredients, or who is pregnant or breast feeding should avoid taking this product. You should also consult your medical practitioner prior to taking Myoshred, especially if you have an existing medical condition or are currently taking medications.
