Phenphedrine is an over-the-counter diet pill that claims to be able to help suppress the appetite and allow the body to burn more fat. This product’s formula is based on a number of stimulants as well as an appetite suppressant. It claims to function through the suppression of NPY and the stimulation of CART. These are two brain chemicals that are responsible for the feeling of hunger and fullness. The more NPY there is and the less CART there is in the brain, the more a person will eat. The more they eat, the greater the struggle to lose weight. However, when NPY levels are reduced and CART levels are increased, the manufacturers of Phenphedrine claim that the appetite is suppressed and weight loss becomes easier.

The official website for Phenphedrine lists the following ingredients in their formula. What is rare about this list is that on the website, the quantity of each ingredient is provided. The ingredients are: Infinergy Dicaffeine Malate, HOPS, Chocamine, Razberri-K, Ginger, Phenylethylamine, Evodiamine, Sclareolide, Dimethylamylamine, and Yohimbine.

The very first ingredient is a stimulant and is a unique one at that. It is a caffeine-based stimulant that has been bonded with malic acid. The claim is that this helps fat to burn faster and allows for easier maintenance of mental focus, but it also claims to reduce the jitters and the crash that is experienced with many other kinds of stimulant. That being said, anyone with high blood pressure, other types of heart problem, diabetes, thyroid problems, people who are on prescription medication, and those with stimulant sensitivities should discuss taking Phenphedrine with a doctor before actually using it for the first time. It should be noted that the second ingredient, HOPS, is an alkaloid extract from the HOPS plant which can also provide a mild stimulant effect, though it also gives the body a message to relax. Chocamine is also a stimulant extracted from the Columbian Cocoa plant.

PROS

The benefits of this product are that it is easy to use and it includes fat-burning ingredients and stimulants that can keep users feeling motivated, will help them to fight fatigue on a diet with a lower caloric intake, and may help to keep them motivated with a mood boost.

CONS

The disadvantages of Phenphedrine are that the stimulants in this product create an adverse reaction in many people. As there are such strong stimulants in this product, the chances of an adverse reaction are even higher. It is recommended that if this product is taken, it should be done at the beginning of the day because it can cause insomnia and sleep problems if taken too close to bedtime. There are no customer testimonials for this product nor are free trials available. At $70 for a month’s supply of Phenphedrine, this product is prohibitively expensive for many consumers.

Are you losing the weight by following the directions on the package, or are you doing something else, too? I haven’t had much luck at all with Phenphedrine and I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong.

If you’re only using it for a month and you want a massive weight loss and you’re dedicated to your diet and exercise, then Phenphedrine is worth it. I lost 12 pounds the month I used it. But there’s no way I’m paying that $$ price again!

12 pounds in one month? I wish I knew what diet you were using while you were taking Phenphedrine! I only lost 7 the first month that I used it. It took me almost two months to reach what you lost. And you’re right that this stuff costs a fortune. I bought three months worth of it because I got a deal for buying that much instead of one month at a time. I’d better lose a lot of weight in my last month with this stuff because there’s no way I’m buying it again for that cost.

This is the fastest way to lose weight that I have ever tried. Nothing else that I have ever taken or practiced has let me lose more than ten pounds in a month without leaving me completely miserable. This is a godsend.
