Re-Body Meratrim is a “fruit and flower slimming formula” designed to help you to start losing weight in 2 weeks, including reducing weight and hip size. According to the official product page, Re-Body Meratrim is a “unique, clinically supported weight management supplement”.

The stimulant and chemical free Re-Body Meratrim formula contains a Meratrim Proprietary Blend composed of Sphaeranthus Indicus extract and Garcinia Mangostana extract. There are also no additives, preservatives or artificial colorings. It is free of soy, wheat, dairy, milk, egg, fish, salt and starch and is suitable for vegetarians. A single serving (1 veggie capsule) contains 400 mg of the proprietary blend.

The suggested use is to take 1 capsule twice daily (one in the morning and one in the evening), 30 minutes prior to a meal.

As for what Meratrim actually is, it’s essentially the combination of a flower (sphaeranthus indicus) and a fruit (garcinia mangostana). Both of these herbs have been used for traditional medicinal purposes and when combined, research suggests that they may be beneficial for weight loss by making it more difficult for fat cells to multiply, by lowering the amount of fat that fat cells collect from the bloodstream and in assisting fat cells in burning stored fat.

Meratrim has been studied and according to the double blind, placebo controlled studies, at the end of a 16 week period, compared to the placebo group, the group that took meratrim lost an extra 8 pounds. They also reportedly lost 2.46 inches more from their waist and 2.07 inches from their hips.

These promising results would indicate that there is a good chance that taking meratrim as directed may help to assist in fat loss compared to only engaging in conventional weight loss methods, such as diet change and exercise.

Re-Body Meratrim is also free of stimulants, which means that there is no risk for adverse effects associated with stimulant ingredients like caffeine, such as insomnia, jitters, restlessness, anxiety, etc.

While the study did show promising results, it is important to point out that a few studies conducted over a short-term period isn’t enough to clinically prove that meratrim is effective. Moreover, the studies conducted were not carried out by independent firms. Manufacturers who produce and sell the supplement paid for these studies, which could mean results are bias.

As for side effects, no major adverse effects have been reported. That being said, this doesn’t mean that Re-Body Meratrim is free of negative side effects.

Should you take this product, be sure to take it as directed for optimal results and pay attention to how your body reacts. To be on the safe side, it is recommended that you first speak with a healthcare professional before taking this supplement.
