The Blood Type Diet is a diet that provides a person with a food diet based on their blood type, whether it is A, B, AB, or O. The idea is that it will help a person eat and live healthier, which can not only help someone lose weight, but also boost their energy and assist in disease prevention.

The diet, which is also known as “Eat Right For Your Type”, was created by Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo, who specializes in naturopathic and integrative medicine. According to Dr. D’Adamo, the food that people eat chemically reacts with their blood type. • Type O blood – Those who fall into this category are to follow a high-protein diet that consists of poultry, lean meat, fish, and vegetables. Grains, dairy, and beans should be eaten sparingly.
