Diet 360 is a weight loss supplement manufactured by Garden of Life which is marketed as being a holistic solution to managing the problems that we all have that we use as excuses for not being able to achieve effective weight loss.

The promotional material for Diet 360 acknowledges that there are many serious contributing factors for weight gain that can be subtle or obvious and can be challenging to overcome, such as emotional or physical issues, financial factors, as well as cultural habits and expectations.

Product Ingredients

The ingredients listed in Diet 360 include:

  • Slimpure (a trademarked ingredient owned by Naturex Inc.)
  • Decaffeinated green coffee extract
  • Blueberry leaf extract
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root and leaf extract
  • Brown seaweed concentrate (fucoxanthin)
  • Bayberry bark extract
  • Coconut oil
  • Cellulose

While blueberry leaf extract and fucoxanthin both have some indication of being able to assist in weight loss – though the quantities of the ingredients are unknown so it is impossible to tell if there is an adequate concentration of either to have the desired effect – Ashwangandha is actually the interesting ingredient in this formula.

Ashwangandah may help alleviate stress

The reason is that Ashwangandha was not included for weight loss purposes. Instead, the Indian herb was added for providing the potential benefit of assisting in stress reduction. Some studies have found that a high concentration full-spectrum extract of Ashwangandha root can lower stress without serious adverse events.

That being said, while this herb is not related to weight loss, lowering stress can potentially be beneficial for individuals who are seeking to lose weight and stick to conventional weight loss strategies. The reason is that stress spikes cortisol levels, which can impact a number of the body’s processes, such as metabolism and emotional stability. Stress can make it harder to sleep, can increase food cravings, contributes to digestive disorders, can make you moody, less alert and less active.  All of these negative impacts can make it harder to lose weight and easier to gain it.

Diet 360 Pros

  • Ingredients may offer benefits – This diet pill does contain ingredients which could possibly assist in weight loss if they are indeed balanced in the formula with the right concentrations.
  • Ashwangandah may help reduce stress – Although it is unknown if the amount of this herb that is used in the formula is enough to help lower stress and anxiety, studies have found that this herb has the potential to be a beneficial stress-reliever.

Diet 360 Cons

  • No practical weight loss information – The manufacturer neither recommends a specific healthy nutritious diet, nor does it suggest any exercise or activity level increases or improvements. It gives the user the impression that healthy weight loss is available simply through pill popping.
  • No proof of efficacy – While there is some suggestion that the individual ingredients may help with the loss of fat or bodyweight, there is no actual proof that any of these ingredients – alone or in combination – will actually produce those results.

It is highly recommended that you see a doctor before starting Diet 360 or any other diet supplement program as there may be a more effective or safer option for your health needs and your weight loss expectations. Moreover, your doctor will be able to help you to design a meal and exercise program to complement its use for the best and healthiest results that will lead to proper weight maintenance once it has been lost.

January 2020 Update – Diet 360 has been discontinued. While the manufacturer Garden of Life is still around and selling supplements for health and weight loss support, this product is no longer among the dietary supplements that they sell. You can always investigate other products that the company offers or consider trying something from another brand that offers a high-quality formula with scientifically studied ingredients.

Diet 360 is exceptional, so I really like it. I’ve been taking them for 14 days and have lost four pounds. This is more than a diet vitamin & made from all natural ingredients.

I started using diet 360 pills last year while I was on antidepressants because I wanted to get a bit of help to lose the weight that the antidepressants were causing me to put on. I found that this product, combined with my antidepressants had effects that were a bit too strong. I was a little too lax about things – even important things. So I decided to shake the antidepressants, which weren’t doing the full job anyway (I did it gradually with a doctor’s help, so no angry messages, please). Then, I started these diet pills again. It really didn’t do much for my weight, but my stress management is way better. I lost the weight caused by my drugs, but nothing else. To me, that’s enough!
